*It's a good idea to print your letters (cursive can be hard to make out -no matter how neat it may be)

*When writing to someone out of the country, it's a good idea to use International Responce Coupons (IRCs) (unless you live in an extremly small town like I do , you should be able to get these at your local post office)

* when writing someone in your country , send a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE)

This will save whoever you're writing $

* No matter who you're writing -well known or not- be patient !! it could take any where

from two weeks to two years (yes I have gotten replies two year after I sent letters!) .
